At Potter Group we are provided with your information with your consent as a customer and/or supplier. We collect data such as addresses and contact details in order to maintain contact and to keep providing you with our ongoing services or to receive services from you. Your data is safe and secure and is stored electronically for accounts purposes and also in some cases in physical form in a lockable cabinet within one of our office/site premises.

We do not share any of your data with any third parties or anyone else other than suppliers who may provide a service to you through us. We provide our suppliers with your address in order to deliver stock and services to your site when required by you.

We lawfully process your information for the purpose of accounting and invoicing. Without the information you provide us with we would not be able to provide our services.

Our web server will store IP addresses and our web hosting company use access logs to aid in debugging, security and service review (not for marketing).

If a contract or custom is terminated we are required by law to keep your data on file for an agreed period.

You are within your rights to:

  • See any information we hold about you and correct it if it’s wrong
  • Request your data is deleted
  • Request your data is not used for certain purposes
